A massive rip in the fabric of space and time leaves Space command's deep space fleet stuck on the other side of the rift. Meanwhile alien ships from another dimension arrive on Earth en masse on the other side of the divide. Captain Maguire, a decorated graduate of the Space command academy, whose unorthodox approach to duty is also his strength in a desperate bid to defend commands his starship the Sandawana into the rift in a desperate bid to defend Earth. 
Arriving on Earth he initiates the counter attack to repel the alien ships from Earth.  Other starships of  Space command's deep space fleet arrive on Earth to support the Sandawana's fight against the alien ships. Under the vicious barrage of lasers and missiles from Space command's deep space fleet, the alien ships begin to withdraw to their own dimension. But as they retreat the aliens launch a ground operation and take a senior Space fleet officer captive. 
Captain Maguire is forced to pursue the aliens taking the fight to their home world.

Interdimensional, a starship trilogy

"We must take him into custody", said major Xad indicating Shutto to captain Maguire. "Take him", major Xad said to two of his men, who start wed moving towards Shutto who happened to be standing among the troopers of armoured security. 


"I 'm afraid I can't allow that, we still need him", declared captain Maguire. The troopers raised their blasters at the soldiers approaching Shutto, who immediately stopped advancing. The other soldiers observing the scenario taking place raised their at the Sandawana's troopers. 


"Why do you want to protect a criminal?", asked major Xad. 


"Your issue with him has nothing to do with us", said captain Maguire. 


"We need him to show us the allies installations". 


"There will be consequences if you block us carrying out our lawful duty", warned major Xad. 


Captain Maguire felt the communicator on his belt vibrate. Swiping it from it's pouch he saw on the device's display that it was the shuttle pilot who was calling him.
