"Any more word from you other than agreeing, and I'll change my mind!" John snapped, showing no signs of mercy.

He immediately fell to his knees with a loud thud. He couldn't watch his family business just collapse. Neither could he transfer the ownership right to John. What would his mom say? What would------?

"Mr O'Connor, please, let's resolve it another way. I'm sure there are other ways to do this.'

"Yes, Mr O'Connor. Please, sir." Leoman chipped in as he immediately went to his knees.

John just stared at them and said nothing. His expression was indecipherable and Luke couldn't tell whether he would forgive him or he would be bent on taking his company.

Finally, John spoke, "I have nothing more to say." He faced the staff. "I guess this is where the meeting ends today. I'll be giving Mr Daniel the last chance to prove his worth."
