Anthony observed his surroundings and found a suitable cave. He nodded satisfactorily, feeling no need to rush to seek out other students. While the professor had mentioned that each eliminated student would earn a point, those points actually translated into academic merits. Anthony leaned indifferently against the cave wall and closed his eyes. He knew the only real problem would be unexpectedly falling into an abyss, but he trusted the map every student carried in their rings.

Having checked his own map earlier, Anthony realized he was almost in the center of the island, which could be considered lucky. Furthermore, he felt no need to draw attention to himself. After all, the true center of attention would be the event's winner. Thus, he considered it a waste of effort and energy to eliminate other students just for fame.
