CHAPTER 12

Luke sat there looking at the students who had come in. He smiled and looked at the students who lived for mundane things like the novels and movies, like beauty and vanity. The reason for any life is just to and the reason for the evolution of any desire is to make sure that all humans will be able to survive for more. Some of them do not understand the world and only live in their own reality while others do not what to do in the vast worlds. Some of them understand everything and are sad to the fate where they are nothing more than food to be harvested. How many men in the world is truly free?

Luke looked at the teacher who had come. Teacher Betty was an old teacher who was nearly above fifty years old. Luke did not know of her age but her body did appear aged. The appearance of the teacher bought silence to the class and she smiled and introduced herself as Betty, the homeroom teacher of the class. She would be in charge of mathematics and would be teaching mathematics. She also said that as long as the students are able to get more than 95% of the marks in the tests, he or she will be given full freedom to do whatever they wanted as long as they do not affect her act of teaching in the class.

Luke did not care for her announcement and did not say much. He smiled and looked through the window. He was sure that he was invincible in the industrial world. He could easily be the killing god in the battlefield of World War 1 and 2 but he did not know anything about the missiles. He knew he could not face the missiles. He could fight in the battlefield but he was by no way invincible. He should fight till the end. He needed some more experience.

Luke did not listen much to the class and walked out after the lunch break had arrived. He walked to canteen to see that it was crowded. He smiled and bought two burgers and smiled and chose to eat at the side. The burger was tasty and he ate it by sitting by the fountain. The beautiful girl's name Meera approached the fountain and was unhappy to see the person sitting at her place. She did not like that someone had sat there. She did not like some commoner was sitting there and looked at him with disgust. She found that the boy was handsome but she did not care about it. She looked at him in anger and said, "This is where I usually have my food. Leave here otherwise I will have your legs broken." 

Luke looked at her and spoke, "Fuck off."

Meera scoffed in anger and said, "I am Meera Cave. My father is the CEO of cave technologies. i have some friends from the gang. I will have your leg broken."

Luke looked at her and found that this was indeed a beautiful girl. She might not have seen the real men in her life and would only have seen those sissy's who tried to please her. He did not want to talk to useless women. She might be pleased by her father and her relatives but she can never hold the company in her hands. why should he care of such scum? He just released his killing intent on her and she was scared back and fell down. She blushed in anger and left the place in anger.

Luke just ate the food and returned to his class. After the class was over, he smiled and went to the parking space and waited for John. John smiled seeing him and punched him slightly. Luke did not care much and looked at him with a smiled. John invited him to get on the bike and the group went on a ride. Luke was sitting at the back of the bike. He smiled seeing the biker's gang and walked out after reaching the beach. John invited him to the restaurant and ordered some bear and food. Luke did not drink the alcohol as he did not like it. He smiled and ate the food and drank some juice. He did not have to wait much time before John started speaking about real facts, "I heard that someone is going to target you."

Luke looked John in a questioning manner. John smiled and said, "Someone spread the fact that you have offended Meera. I can help to cover up the matter."

Luke smiled and said, "Cave technology is not something that can be put in front of me."

John asked in curiosity, "Who is behind you?"

Luke said the truth nonchalantly, "Lucifer."

John laughed out loud thinking that Luke was joking. John did not say much and looked at John in a calm manner. John did not laugh anymore and spoke," They will attack you. There are some methods that are not said in the light but practised in the dark. Although the red chain is not so strong, there is a rule in the York school that no one from the outside shall be involved. She will most likely contact the gang from within the school. All that is needed is some favours. You will have to talk to our leader about it."

Luke smiled and said, "I still can't understand why the child of the Tremor technology is just a captain of the battalion."

John smiled and said, "I like fighting more than managing. I will be taking over the underworld forces under my father and will not be here for much time. The red chain has much bigger history and was not born in my generation. Let me give you an advice, do not look down on this school. For normal people this is nothing more than hell, but for the rich and the strong this is a place for training and a place to climb to the top."

Luke smiled and said, "I know that already. Take me to your leader."

John smiled and said, "Sure."

John took him to the private part of the hotel that was not open to the public. Luke observed to find that this section was more luxurious. He could smell the dry traces of blood and the fighting aura in the hall. He smiled and walked and John was unable to see the creepy smile on the face of Luke. Luke entered the room and found that the person was sitting behind a table and the room was in an office style. John sat on the table and smiled and spoke, "There is a rule in red chain that the leader shall be the one elected by the battalion leaders and shall be the one who is the best in management and foreknowledge. He is our leader and can see the future. He can even predict the actions of our opponent gangs."

Luke sat on the chair nonchalantly and asked, "is that a superpower or is it due to high IQ calculation?"

Rob smiled and said, "There are always patterns that can be seen."

Luke said, "There are very few who can stand atop like you. What do you think about standing against Meera?"

Rob said, "Unnecessary conflict. The only reason that I have allowed you to enter here is because John thinks that you are someone special."

Luke smiled and said, "I am sure that what the gang lacks the most and do not lack the most is pure combat power. Can you really forget how Meera stepped on your mother and let your father be fired?"

Rob was angry and the smile on his face was wiped out. He wanted to kill the person in front of him and they could do nothing. He smiled and said, "Personal matter should not affect the gang."

John had stood aside by this time as Rob was angry. The fact that they said about Rob being purely the brain of the organization was false. Rob was a fighter. John was surely made to surrender and it seems that the outside cannot affect the inside much. It seems that his father does not care much for him otherwise John should have been able to rise higher.

Luke smiled and asked him, "If your girlfriend is raped would you just go to the police and complain saying that personal matters should not affect the gang."

John had taken the gun and had it pointed at Luke. Luke smiled and looked at John and said, "Sometimes the people are important part of the organization. If personal things cannot be bought into the gang, then this gang is not a proper gang."

Rob said in a calm manner as his calm had returned. He smiled and said, "I will be taking my own revenge and the gang does not need an outsider to dictate its actions. You better prove your worth to us or you will have to pay for wasting out time."

Luke stood up and walked to John. Rob looked at this questioningly and decided to not interfere. Luke went to John and put his hands on the gun. John wanted to react but before his body could follow his thoughts, he took the gun. Rob did not care and John had taken a knife. Luke went and sat down and said, "Sometimes power is the biggest thing that stands above all." Luke put the gun at his forehead and shot the gun. He caught the bullet with two fingers of his other hand. Rob was dumbfounded and so was John.

Luke threw the gun on the table and smiled to Rob and said, "You don't need to use the gun you have under the table. Answer me. What is the worth of red chain to be involved with me?"

Rob had his calm return and spoke with a smile, "The connections I have is big."

Luke smiled and said, "Solve the incident related to Meera and I can give you a million rubbles. If you perform well I may make you my friend."

Rob said, "One million is indeed a good price. You seem to have a better background."

Luke smiled and said, "I do not have a good background at least in the manner you think. It would be better to finish the matter. I know that you are hardly able to make a million within five months. If having such money, you are not able to suppress the people under you and clean this matter, then that would only mean that you are not worthy of being talked to. The money will be given after the matter is solved."

Rob said, "We need some proof."

Luke smiled and asked, "What do you want?"

Luke had his personal space cube expand to 1 km in length and had a lot of items. He knew that with each rebirth the space would increase. He did not care much about it had more than enough gold. He also had made a lot of money. He had to let the gold be exchanged as the gold he had was not so pure. He had some wood but most of them were made into items he had. He smiled and took some gold coins and put on the table. He smile and said, "Each coin is worth 10,000 rubbles. I have kept 15 coins here."

Rob smiled and said, "I will take care of it."

Luke smiled and said, "You better complete the task" Luke stood up and walked away.
