CHAPTER 24

Luke looked at the people who had come to meet him. Nathan was the one who was sent by the people and he was the expert in negotiations. He smiled and sat in front of Luke. Luke smiled and said, "You are a good person to approach at the right time. What do you think about the soul drink? How about the name?" 

Nathan smiled and said, "The name is indeed good. I know that you are one of those who do not like to lead the talk through a whirlpool, so they send me here."

Luke said, "I am more of a warrior than a talker, although I have come to enjoy the process of talking. It is something that can make the life more colourful."

Nathan, "Do you want me to make the talk longer?"

Luke said, "No need. Speak directly."

Nathan, "What is the cost of the soul drink or what is it for which you are willing to exchange the soul drink?"

Luke said, "I will only use it for bartering. Also inform them that the soul drink cannot be plundered or forcefully traded or I might be angry. I will be letting some competitions be held every once in a while, as this will be the price."

Nathan asked, "Some say that the price of the attendants is too low while others say it is too high."

Luke said, "The position itself is valuable on its own. Besides the money and convenience they are provided, working for a year for me let them live two or four years more. Inform the ones behind you that I intend to make this city more solid and stronger. I want to make this city a true city of study where the graduates are the strongest. There is no need to worry about anything else."

Nathan said, "there is no way to actually have a true city of steady as this city exists due to the need of the people and many of them are nothing more than greedy people. You can forcibly hold the city but how long will it last."

Luke said, "I only care that the city lasts for a few years till I leave the city. It can return to the formal form or be destroyed. I do not care for this city at all. What I care is the present state of the city."

Nathan smiled and said, "Sure. That is a good idea. My mother Nora has organized a fighting tournament that is based on martial arts. I would like to give you an invitation in regards to her."

Luke took the invitation and said, "I will be coming. If the personal assistant is a good one, I will let it work for me for some more years. After all I am a man who wants to be free."

Nathan, "Sure. May I leave."

Luke said, "Sure."

Nathan smiled and left the room and Luke looked at the invitation. He decided to go for the tournament and enjoy seeing some men fight. It would be boring but the ideas of martials arts and their whole systems can be mastered by him as long as he knows of their existence. It was a good choice for him.

Luke looked at the cars that had come to escort him. He smiled and sat inside the car and let it take him to the designated place. He walked out after reaching the airport and entered the plane that was arranged for him. His private plane was destroyed and hence he had no choice but to take the plane of the women who had invited him, Nora.

Luke walked out after reaching the place and looked out to see that the people were ready to invite him. He saw a beautiful woman waiting from him and he smiled and greeted her. She smiled and hugged him and said, "Never expected that I would be meeting the strongest man here. The tournament would be grander as you are joining."

Luke smiled and said, "That would be a good thing and I like to see some fights. Hope that they are able to make me see some new and powerful martial arts. At least they should have developed some new methods of applying their martial arts."

Nora smiled and said, "If the competition was all about showing who had the better muscles wouldn't it be better to see those simulation animations. Martial arts also needs to use the brains and only the ones who can keep evolving can win."

Luke smiled and said, "Ever-evolving is one method and another method is to be a constant being at the higher level of martial arts. It is just like a fish who swims in the water, different situation let the fishes swim however is the fittest. They do not think and they do not predict. They just do it, that is the higher stage than the ever evolving method."

Nora smiled and said, "Logan had broken through that level. He fights as though it is his instinct."

Luke smiled and said, "That would be interesting. Take me to the arena."

Nora asked, "We have arranged a villa for you to rest and enjoy the time. The competition begins after three days. The qualifiers going on now are not so interesting."

Luke said, "I have not eaten food for nearly a year except for those meetings where I was invited. It would be better to take me there. I have no need for mortal pleasure and the mortal needs. The only reason I have come here is to learn more martial arts and to get more inspiration. Even the newest ones should not be underestimated as the strong may not be dependent on inspiration but inspiration can be provided by anyone."

Nora bowed slightly and said, "Sorry for being impudent. How about we leave for the arena."

Luke smiled and said, "Sure."

The both of them had sat on the car. The car was moving fast and the road was cleared so that they could move. Nora smiled and asked, "Would it be impudent to ask why you are strong?"

Luke smiled and said, "It would indeed be impudent. But there is no problem to tell you the answer. I am a sage in martial arts and hence I am strong. There are levels in martial arts each corresponding to different levels of realm instead of having different levels of moves and powers. I have reached the sage realm where all martial arts are known to me and learnt to and perfected to the extreme with a thought. You should understand that not only my body has evolved to that level, all my cells, the internal organs, the nerves, the reflex, the brain, the state of mind, the very way my thought works and the consciousness has evolved to that level. The strength will naturally increase after reaching this level. After reaching the sage realm all the skills are nothing more than derivative of the sage. The other reason is that my bloodline is far higher than any being here. With my bloodline alone I can survive in the magma for a long period of time and fight against the tanks and armoured vehicles. My bloodline comes with poison immunity, temperature immunity, radiation immunity and absolute self-healing ability and the most important feature."

Nora decided to play with the tune of the speech and asked, "What important feature?"

Luke smiled and said, "Absolute immunity to anything that could change or affect my bloodline. My bloodline can only evolve based on my thought to the direction I want and can never degrade or be affected. How do you think that I have such bloodline?"

Nora asked, "Can your bloodline be passed?"

Luke smiled and said, "Yes. But I have no interest in women and I have no interest in having children." Looking at the smiled at the face of Nora he added, "My sexuality is oriented towards women and I like women sexually. I do not want to be involved in mundane things and decided to keep myself pure."

Nora said, "The strong should enjoy everything."

Luke said, "True. But believe me when I say, no women can survive under me, even if I want a woman. Enjoyment is nothing more than satisfying some desire. I do not need to emulate the other strong and follow their methods of enjoying their desire. I am the real strong and anything I do is the right thing that the strong should do."

Nora said, "You are right. Why are you different?"

Luke said with a smile, "Because I am strong and because I am a killer. I would have killed the whole nation if not to have more fun. I want them to work harder to become stronger and challenge me. Saying that life is boring because you are strong is foolishness but I would like to say that this world is indeed boring."

Nora asked with a smirk, "Do you need stronger opponents?"

Luke smiled and said," I have been learning ever since I have come to this world. The knowledge is learnt and so has the information. Inform others that as long as they are willing to provide me with all the information, I can give them some soul drinks."

Nora laughed and asked, "Why are you changing the name every now and then?"

Luke smiled and said, "Because I am the one who gave the name. That drink is nothing more than soul energy condensed into liquid form that can be absorbed by a biological body that has a soul. Usually, the energy would be absorbed by the soul, but I modified it to work like the manner it works. Each bottle is made by me. The energy of the soul is the most unique as they are a higher dimensional energy. The soul is the essence of life. The universe moves from being in the state of dead matter to living matter using the power of soul and consciousness."

Nora asked, "Why make it so?"

Luke smiled and said, "Microbes and some animals do not have soul. The soul is born on the body of conscious beings and is unique to it. The different parts of the body will not have souls. I wouldn't want the old men who take the drink to die due to the microbes in their body growing stronger due to energy. I don't want the cancer in their body to grow stronger. After all cancer cells are stronger than ordinary cells in terms of growth."

Nora said, "That is indeed a good method."

Luke said with a smile, "You have not said anything about you, fair lady."

Nora smiled and said, "I am the one who walked out of corpses like you. I just had to kill all my siblings, kill and swallow the family and power of my fiancée, cripple all my elders and take the Structural corporation under me. I am one of a kind. The only reason martial arts is respected in this country is because it is my hobby."

Luke smiled and said, "That is indeed a good thing."

Nora said, "I have some connections and there are a lot of women who would like to get married to you."

Luke smiled and said, "I have no interest in that. I would rather learn more and become stronger."

Nora asked, "Why? No one can even reach your level."

Luke smiled and said, "it is indeed true. But I cannot survive in the space alone and I cannot survive inside the sun. Not to mention the black holes or supernova explosions, what about the dangers outside the universe."

Nora said, "Those things are not possible."

Luke smiled and said, "For ordinary humans that is indeed not possible. The limitations of genetic technology is the need for a huge amount of resources and the technical support of a bigger civilization. It is not impossible for a single person to try to reach that level, but the person should be extremely lucky in the earlier stages and should have extreme comprehension and luck that the path he chose is the path that can be upgraded. But when it comes to energy that can be manipulated by the human body, all logic breaks, as the only thing needed is to accumulate higher energy and become stronger."

Nora asked, "I thought that the energy was a rarity."

Luke said, "It is indeed a rarity for the people of this world but not for me. Would you think too much before scattering some sugar cubes on the ant hill. You wouldn't. But a proper businessman would make the ants work for him."

Nora said, "We are not ants."

Luke said, "is there a better metaphor. To destroy this whole world is easy for me and you wouldn't even be able to touch me literally. I can go deep into the ocean and take a lot of water into my space and keep releasing into the city and destroy the cities. I can take the magma from the volcanos and do the same. I can take a huge piece of land into my space from a big plateau and fly to the sky and let it fall like a meteorite. Although I am not a perfect god, I am indeed invincible in this world and you all are ants. You many hide deep within the grounds hiding from me but I can destroy the whole ecology of the world. I do not need anything from this world as an intake and I am not tired and destroying this world will only takes some time. So the question is not whether you are ants, the question is whether you are willing to recognize it and be an obedient and or try to challenge me like the foolish stories where the mortals try to stand against the gods."

Nora smile and said, "That is true."

Luke asked, "Why are you not sad?"

Nora said with a smile, "There are many people who are above me and there are many things in the society that can affect me. Why should I be sad that there is one more danger. At least you are a man and I have my advantage with men."

Luke laughed and said, "You are indeed interesting. Don't announce my arrival. I want to see the competition of the rookies without giving them much pressure."

Luke jumped out of the car and flew to the arena.
