CHAPTER 31

Luke looked at the people who had followed him. He looked at them and asked, "Why are you following me?"

The four of them released their weapons and said, "How dare you kill our teacher?"

Luke was about to kill them when the one at the front said, "I am the son of the earl. You cannot kill me."

Luke simply killed the four of them and walked away. He kept reading the documents he had on the way and found that none of them were of the right type. He was really sad that there were no good ones. He took the book given by the Lucifer and read it. He found that there were many things written in it. He looked at the section of the demons as there were many contract demons that would work under exchange of resources for a period of time. He looked at the book and found that some would exchange blood while others would exchange the souls of mortals. They were really demons and devils. He found that the energy condensed using soul energy could be exchanged instead of the souls. He kept reading it and found some people who were best in warfare and killing. Most of the demons had lived a long time and they had learnt many things. He kept searching for the names and found one person who was strong skilled enough. Demon Arborol was the first choice he had and he decided to select him.

Luke went to the private house he had and went under the house. He opened the door and went down and activated the isolation magic. He activated the magical circle and called the demon. The demon came from the magic circle Arborol looked at him. He looked at Luke and said, "Humble mortal. Give me hundred more soul crystals and I shall make you the king of the world."

Luke looked at him and said, "You are indeed the kingmaker." Luke released the aura of the angel and looked at him. The demon stood on the ground with humility and said, "Sorry sir. I did not know it was an angel who summoned me. What do you want sir?"

Luke looked at him and said, "I am the heir to the dukedom here and is the only heir. I tried to search from some subordinates, but most of them are useless. I don't plan to waste time in training them. That is where you come in."

Arborol looked at him and asked, "So you don't want to conquer the world using pure strength."

Luke looked at him and said, "I want you to manage the territory, manage the subordinate houses, manage the generals, train the army. I want to play with the world in the proper manner. You can summon your subordinates. I will give you ten such soul crystals every month and you can divide among your subordinates. If you fail, I will give you a bad review."

Arborol bowed to him and said, "I am willing to follow you my lord"

Luke looked at him and formed a one-sided contract magic. He was not a fool to bind anything to his soul. He looked at Arborol and said, "You and your subordinates cannot say to be a demon to others and should always maintain the image of humans and some foolish instincts such eating humans should not be performed. The present job I am going to give you is to form an army and let them be trained in the manner of the Roman soldiers. Your job is to arrange it."

Arborol stood up and said, "Sure my lord. What is your name my lord?"

Luke looked at him and said, "You can call me Luke. As for my origin name, I am not going to say it to you. Go and look at the situation and find how many gold coins are needed to train an army of hundred thousand. Select them from the beggars and the jobless. Initially I was thinking about forming an army of ten thousand by selecting a general from this world but there is no one who is talented and the talented are not interest in working for me."

Arborol said, "We can get the resources from other worlds my lord. There are many demons in inter-world transportation business and the soul energy crystal is a very rare item."

Luke looked at him and said, "I know that the soul energy crystal is rare. You can get the soul energy crystal from me for the money needed for exchange. I have order ten thousand sets of dress for the soldiers from a shop and you can get the information from my butler. Take care of this matter. This token will allow you to collect the soldiers. Feed them and make them strong. I want everyone of them to be ready to give their lives for me."

Arborol bowed and said, "I will have it done."

Luke returned to his house and explained to his parents about the academy and Arborol. As he was the heir, he had all the rights to do what was necessary. Luke just enjoyed his life that was necessary to live. He kept living his life learning more things and training in more things.

Luke looked at the battleship he had built that was able to fight against the different terrains and had all the system login built into it and had many robots and fighter machines controlled by AI. He decided to keep it as the sequence 1 battleship and named it SB-1. He kept feeding the energy to the industry he had created that would keep creating the battleships. He liked mass productions as more items were the better options.

Luke looked at the message that had come from Arborol. He flew to the air and went to the barracks that were made outside. He looked at the barracks and landed next to Arborol. Arborol bowed to me and so did the other demons. I looked at them and asked them to show off the training result.

Luke looked at the people soldiers that were arranged. He looked at the people and smiled and said to Arborol, "Begin." The well coordinated moves and the uniform attacks were much higher than the ones he had seen in his previous life. It seems that the people here have the method of fighting and training. Luke was happy with it and their dresses were made black in colour. He looked at them and smiled and made them be happy.

Luke was happy with the army and gave a few soul energy crystal to others. He looked at them and returned and decided to become stronger. There are many methods to become stronger and he decided to fuse the law of abyss and the law of time he had seen. After every war, the world will keep changing and the nobles will fall and rise."

The duke looked at him and said, "We have our own methods to fight and there is something that needs to be done. We have connections to keep the war under control. We have three dragon riders under our control and we have friendship with the saint."

Luke looked at him and said, "I need more credit so that the lords under me will work properly later. There will be no other chance like this later."

The duke said, "That is foolishness."

Luke released his pressure and created a seven-ring magic circle that only the sages could make and said, "I have stepped into the sage realm."

The duke thought for some time before he said, "I will arrange for the day of your succession."
