In a world where life was once ordinary, a blinding white light changed everything in an instant.

 Billions of inhabitants vanished from the only planet in the galaxy with life, leaving behind empty cities and abandoned structures.

Among the survivors was William Davis, an average 22-year-old who was content with his ordinary life.

Waves and waves of monsters came for his tower with the intention to destroy it but how could William let it happen? His life was binded with it!

Tower defense: Sacrificial tomb from the start!

A ball of energy the size of a tennis ball flew toward one of the big corpses that were halfway standing.

At the impact, the big body of the creature had a small hole at the targetted location.

William looked at his hand, suddenly, the importance of his hand had increased a lot more than before.

'I did it.' He thought, his breathing erratic from using a lot of mana.

A wave had passed since he started striving for the top, he was going beyond his paranoia making it a necessity to risk his life.

The wave had gone fine with some Gremlicks, rats, and hounds this time. There were 20 of them and William lost a few points in tower health.

He didn't think losing the health of the tower was fine but the hit was not that significant. The only problem with the wave was that he could not reach the top. Yes, he reached the top 100,000 ranking again yet it was not what he was going for.
