Our Maiden Hearts Need to Daydream

Calix led Leslie inside through the basement entrance lobby. They—actually only he—were welcomed by the bodyguards guarding the door separating the parking area and the lobby.

The two men dressed in black suits bowed at Calix. Their loud voice echoed heavily in the area as they unisonly greeted the young man.

"Good morning, CEO Xu! Have a good day!"

Calix casually waved one hand at them. His lips formed a lopsided grin, "Good work, you two. See you guys later."

"Yes, sir!"

Leslie silently watched Calix's short interaction with the two bodyguards. With both hands inside the jacket pockets, the young CEO walked at a laid-back pace, assuming a lazy gait.

CEO Xu didn't seem to be in a rush to get to his office at all. Being the big boss really had its advantage. He didn't need to worry about time-stamping late.

Leslie unconsciously puckered her lips slightly. She couldn't help but recall that one time she arrived late to work.
