Making Up the Lost Time

Parting her lips slightly, Leslie was still thinking about how to bring up this issue with Calix. She had never questioned his ability to be patient and remain rational but, reluctance still tugged at her heart.

'He's just excited. Still, it's better to talk about it sooner.'

Being a parent was never easy. Leslie had experienced it firsthand. Thankfully, Calix wouldn't go through it without the backing from his close ones. 

'Two parents. When both parents are involved, surely we'd have differences in our thinking. Tho we both want what's the best for Calliope.'

So unlike when she was a single mother with little to no support.

Because Leslie had to take on the parental role alone, she encountered some difficulties when involving Calliope's wellbeing. She often worried she made a wrong decision because she couldn't really discuss her daughter with everyone else.
