He Won't Bring a Wife Home Soon

Calix and Leslie promised to look into suitable kindergartens for Calliope, much to the little one's excitement.

"Hehe, thank you, Papa and Mama~"

Calix and Leslie smiled at one another, their thoughts reflected in their eyes.

Even though they were worried about placing her among the children of the elites, the husband and wife didn't want to dampen their daughter's joy.

Calliope openly verbalized the request with the hope it would be granted. Calix and Leslie guessed their daughter was eager to learn and make friends, especially after leaving her old friends at the orphanage.

"Poppy, wanna help Papa wash the dishes?" Calix rose to his feet. He started gathering the bowls and plates, "We can play puzzles or watch TV after this."

"Help! Poppy will help!"

A happy Calliope hurriedly finished her drink before sliding down the chair. Calix and Leslie let the little one assist in putting the dishes on the food trolley.
