His Fate Would Be Worse Than Death

While waiting for Manager Yin to return with food for Evelyn, the young lady recounted what she experienced when dealing with Chase last night. Her elder brother patiently listened to her.

"I didn't want him to know I was there so... I hid in his room. I waited for hours. He finally came back but... he was with a young woman. I didn't know who she was."

At first, Evelyn sounded calm but, her intonation and expression changed the deeper she went into the story. Fire of outrage blazed in her eyes as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"That scumbag kissed her! I saw him kissing her right after they came inside! Urgh! Freaking trash! I should backkick him!"

Irritated by the image, Evelyn punched a pillow before ending up throwing it. The cushion bounced on the wall then falling not far from the built-in bookshelves.
