May has her arms spread out like a bird as she 'flies' across the market, carried by a bemused Valentine.
She occasionally leans close to the bard and whispers something in his ear, only to giggle wildly when he answers with whatever amusing response she was hoping for.
He is surprisingly good with May. I don't know why that's so surprising, actually.
I suppose it's the way Lucas and Valentine fight like cats and dogs - one might incorrectly assume it meant they were opposites, rather than kindred souls that irritated each other.
Or maybe I'm just buying into the Valentine slander that Lucas likes to hurl around.
That's always possible.
Perhaps I should be more ashamed of such a possibility but...I just can't be bothered to be.
"Oh wow..."
I hear the beautiful young girl, Celeste, speak to no one in particular.
I turn to her with a curious glance.
