Blood Hounds (II)

"Huh, I get it now—brutal but clever creatures..." Ossa smiled nervously, realizing he would have to go all out. Even then, he wasn't sure he would come out on top, considering their maniacal style of fighting.

Not to mention, ever since entering the forest, the system had been awfully quiet—the only proof of its existence being the dark green aurora that still guided him toward his prey.

"GRRHHH!!" All five of them growled at him, slowly circling, their sharp gazes never leaving him.

"I'm on my own..." Ossa thought, wishing he had some assistance from the system, like that Indomitable Will thing it had given him, oblivious to the fact that it was his own skill.

"RUFF!!" The four hounds positioned at the cardinal points barked in unison, sending out a powerful sonic blast. The force of all four combined brought him to his knees, the weight like a vibrating mountain pressing from all sides.
