A Much Needed Bath And Footsteps

Resting in front of Asher was large lake that shimmered with the beauty of Tidemother.

It rippled from the breeze that was blowing and carried them quite far. Asher couldn't exactly estimate the size of the lake, as it seemingly melded with the tree-line.

The Tidemother had waned, and thus her light was weaker, otherwise Asher would have seen the full extent of the lake.

'There's a stream connecting to this, isn't there?' Asher thought and looked around.

The sound of water he had heard was definitely from a stream as the lake wouldn't really make that kind of a sound. Plus with such a large lake being here meant that it needed a steady source of water to continue existing.

Asher narrowed his eyes in search for the stream and soon spotted it about fifty meters from where he was standing. The stream was coming out of a thicket and was fully obscured by it.

"There it is." Asher spotted it and decided to approach.
