Injured Companion And Wait

Asher hadn't expected the meat of the Orc to be this inedible.

"Rather than inedible, its basically poisonous." Asher spoke.

"It sure is." Michael nodded. "Unless one has the tenacity and stomach of a barbarian, eating Orc Meat is not a good idea." He added.

It gave Asher a bit to think about, and he debated whether to sell the Orc Blood or to make use of it.

"With the loot from this Orc, it should be more than enough to compensate for the lost payment from your job." Michael reckoned. "Though… I suppose this is a tiny amount for you as a Mage." He chuckled.

"That…" Asher didn't know what to say to that.

"I know, I know. You might not be a full fledged Mage now, but once you join under the tutelage of Senior mage, you'll be making a lot more. Just the stipend you might get would be a few golds alone." Michael knew that Asher and him being able to talk right no was only a temporary thing.

In the future, their status would be far apart.
