Jon didn't wish for Misha to be harmed and was a thought that was echoed by Micheal and Asher too.

Micheal had gotten out of his stun and heard everything. But he couldn't do much, with the rogues still restricting him.

"STOP!" Michael shouted, as the dagger got closer to Misha.

But just as Hane was about to commit the foul deed, a loud sound stopped him.

An explosion forced everyone to turn and saw a shocking scene.

"Gayle…" they saw their teammate charred into a black corpse.

The limbs had been blasted apart, while the bottom half of the body was almost separated form the top. In fact, the flesh was all burned away, leaving only the spine attaching the two halves. And even then the spine was barely hanging on.

One could look inside, as the organs continue to glow red, the flames still burning them.
