The stopping of the carriage made the group surprise and Michael quickly went to the front.

They didn't know who was inside the carriage or why it had stopped, but the mercenaries knew that rarely anything good came out of a nobles carriage, at least in the middle of an outer highway.

The door of the carriage opened and a knight stepped out.

He was wearing a full set of armor except for the helmet, which was currently held in his hand. A sword held on the right of his waist while a short cape hung slanting from his left side.

The most striking though were the man's eyes that were a brilliant blue.
