Asher knew that there were a lot of seas in the world and it was the territory of the Tidemother.

In fact, this was something that was taught to every child when they were young, as part of the faith of the Tidemother. It was her who kept them safe and the one who showed them the paths that needed to be taken.

But Asher didn't know about Oceans.

"What's an Ocean?" Asher asked, feeling stumped.

"You don't know what an Ocean is?" the group was rather surprised, including Aria and Clyde.

"No." Asher shook his head. "I only know of the Seas."

"Hmm, I suppose you can think of the Ocean as a giant sea. A Sea that connects other seas is an Ocean." Misha explained. "It also in the Oceans that the true power of the Tidemother manifests for that is the source of the tides and currents." She added.
