Volstead City

Once they could no longer see the carriage, Asher looked around curiously.

They were standing on the side of a small canal that was about six feet wide. The water passing through it was relatively clear, but no fishes or other animals could be seen in it. The canal seemed to be circling around this part of the city.

Asher recalled the map that Micheal had helped him make and remembered the layout of the city.

Vol City had three circular walls in it that divided the city into three main regions. The region that Asher was in right now was the outer region which was mostly occupied by industries, workshops as well as the residential areas for the lower class of the city.

A majority of the commoners lived in this region though there was no true 'slum' in the city anymore. This was due to the reforms that were brought by the City lord when he inherited the position from the former Count Vol.
