Didn't Want Poor Contracted Beasts

In the heart of the Capital City, beneath the blanket of falling snow, the night market awakened. It was a bustling symphony of sights and sounds. Lanterns casted a warm glow, illuminating the flurry of activities on the streets. Fragrant steam rose from stalls, mingling with the crisp winter air, as vendors plied their wares with lively banter.

Amidst the delicate snowflakes dancing in the moonlight, the market became a tapestry of colors, from vibrant silks to gleaming jewels, each item holding beauty of its own.

While the night market of Dongzhi City was also lively, it came no where near the glamor of the Imperial City's night market. The latter was superior in every way possible.

"Can you sense your contracted beast?" Zhang Xuan asked as he and Xiang Ling checked out the items on a book stall. The latter had taken interest in the various romance best-sellers and was now excitedly looking through them to decide whether to purchase them or not.
