The ship they were boarding, the Multipurpose Carrier Ship CV-88 Khali, was fitted with its own wide-range radars, active and passive sonars, and even defensive weapons. It was also fitted with recreational facilities to let soldiers aboard the ship loosen up when they were off duty.

The entire ship had ten levels, six below the "runway" and four above, including the bridge on the highest floor of the "island."

The first and second floors were the general area, where everyone could spend their time leisurely. There's the mess hall, the game hall, the relaxation hall, the gym, and the storage room. The third floor was set as the living quarters for Doppel Pilots, where the bunk beds for all of them are located.
