Quinlan started to frown, gritting his teeth, as he quickly moved. His Doppel sidestepped, but he wasn't surprised by how the warning sound still didn't stop.

The Directional EMP Blaster covers a wide range the further the target is, after all. Although its effectiveness drops with range too, it could still disable all electronics within three kilometers of its line of sight effectively.

'I won't make it in time!' He realized immediately.

While he was staring at the enemy mech carrying the blaster, he saw how its charging time was already over. The blaster fired, releasing an invisible electromagnetic pulse, which warped its immediate surroundings!
