After an unknown amount of time passed, Quinlan finally opened his eyes.

He let out a short groan as he raised his body, still numb from all the pain he suffered before passing out.

But when he looked down, he quickly saw his own chest, bare and exposed to the air.

In a flash, he grabbed the blanket covering him and pulled it over his chest, hiding it from direct view. Now that his senses were returning, he realized he was naked while lying down in the middle of a large, white bed!

The room was dim, with nothing but faint yellow light coming from lamps using unknown minerals that let off a gentle glow. He looked left and right and realized that he didn't recognize the place he was in.

"Where is this place?" Quinlan raised a voice of doubt.
