"Alright, let's get this over with," he grumbled, rolling up his sleeve to reveal his muscular arm.

Sophia took a deep breath, calming her own nerves before she began. She picked up a tourniquet and gently tied it around Ragnar's upper arm, just above the elbow, to make the veins more prominent.

Ragnar merely grunted in response, his expression impassive.

Adeline handed Sophia an alcohol swab, which she used to clean a small area on Ragnar's arm. The sharp scent of antiseptic filled the air. Sophia took a moment to ensure the area was thoroughly sterilized, her movements precise.

Next, she picked up a sterile needle attached to a collection tube. "Alright, Ragnar. You'll feel a small pinch," she said as she expertly inserted the needle into the vein.
