Aunt And Uncle Wants Us To Have Dinner Together

Sabrina looked around her and clasped her hands tightly. She bit her lips and apologized. ''I'm sorry, I didn't say anything bad about you. It seems Miss Celia misunderstood the situation…''

''Did I ask you to apologize to me?'' Vincent's question cut Sabrina's apology short.

''Vincent, she…'' Celia was surprised that Vincent was taking Sabrina's side. But he shot her a sharp glare and she muted her lips.

''Also, next time, if you have any questions about me, come and ask me yourself.'' Vincent added before turning to face director Eric. ''Shall we, director?''

''Sure!'' Director Eric smiled and looked at Sabrina before turning to walk away.

''Georgia, go and get the profiles. We're starting soon.'' Vincent turned and spoke to Georgia whom was following him.

''Yes, CEO.'' Georgia turned and went towards the office.

Celia noticed the way everyone was looking at her and scoffed. She bumped into Sabrina on purpose as she walked away in anger.

''Sabrina, are you alright?'' Lucia held Sabrina and asked. She had just arrived and was on her way to Sabrina's side when she saw Celia's actions.

''I'm fine. Sit down and go through your lines. The audition will start very soon.'' Sabrina said to Lucia.

''Where is my sister?'' Lucia asked.

''She went to get breakfast with Bia.'' Sabrina sat down and turned to look at Celia.

The words of Vincent rang in her ears. His words were quite misleading. It was as if they had a close relationship.

''Is he trying to mess with me again?" Sabrina mumbled.

''What did you say?'' Lucia asked.

''Nothing!'' Sabrina shook her head.

Celia's assistant turned and looked at Sabrina and spoke softly. ''Celia, since when did Mr. Maraj become close to Miss Sabrina. His words just now…''

''They are not close. I am the closest to Vincent. I won't allow another woman get close to him. He is mine.'' Celia's said confidently.

Inside the auditioning room.

Director Eric sat down and turned to ask Vincent. ''I didn't know you and Sabrina had a close relationship? She doesn't have a lot of industry friends and her manager schedules all her works.''

Vincent smirked. ''We don't have a close relationship yet.'' Vincent said insinuatingly.

''Yet? Which means, there might be one in the future? Vincent, I didn't know you were such a…'' Director Eric didn't know the right word to use on Vincent. He just felt that Vincent's actions weren't that simple. He has known Vincent for a long time and they've collaborated on a few times. It was safe to say that he knew him to some extent and he could tell that Vincent was interested in Sabrina.

''Such a what?'' Vincent cocked his brows.

''You're good. I only feel pity for Sabrina. She doesn't know the kind of man she has attracted.''

Vincent smirked.

…..

While Sabrina was practicing her script, the number of actors and actresses that were there for the audition kept reducing. While others came out smiling, others also came out crying and feeling embarrassed because Vincent was too hard on them.

One particular actress came out crying. Lucia looked at the door and sighed. ''Sabrina, do you think I will make it? All those that came out crying are considered long time actresses. I've been doing dubbing since I entered the industry. Do you think I still stand a chance?''

Lucia was losing hope and her confidence seemed to be diminishing.

''Have confidence in yourself. You're good at dubbing. I'm sure you will make it.'' Sabrina comforted Lucia.

''I heard you're auditioning for the female lead? Why don't you audition for the second female lead? With me here, you don't stand a chance.'' Celia spoke. She was sitting across Sabrina at the hallway of the auditioning room.

''Sabrina, why is she been hostile towards you? This is your first time of meeting and she acts as if you two have bad blood.'' Lucia didn't understand why Celia was been aggressive towards Sabrina.

''Who knows? Maybe we had bad blood in our past lives. Ignore her and study your script. Sometimes, you just have to shut people up with your work.'' Sabrina's words struck Celia's assistant and she stood up.

''What do you mean, Sabrina? Are you saying that you are better than Celia?'' Amanda wanted to defend Celia by making things difficult for Sabrina.

''Whoa! This is my first time of seeing someone twist another person's words in real time. Do you have hearing problems?'' Lucia stood up and asked.

''Lucia, sit down.'' Sabrina looked up. She gave Amanda a sharp glance and Amanda moved back. Sabrina's silent gaze was too domineering.

''Vincent and I have been together since our childhood. Growing up, what type of women haven't I seen before try to seduce him? I know him very well and I know that he will never allow an opportunist near him. I know every woman that tries to get closer to Vincent. Like I always advise them, let me say the same thing to you.''

Celia crossed her leg proudly and continued. ''Give up! You are only going to embarrass yourself and become a ridicule in the eyes of everyone. Vincent will never look at a woman like you twice. It's a waste of his time.''

''Really?'' Sabrina closed the script in her hands and stared at Celia. ''Since you know him very well, you should also know the type of women he likes, right? If you are so sure that he will never look at me twice, then, why are you wasting your breath trying to advise me?''

''What? You…'' Celia was taken aback by Sabrina's words. For a moment she didn't have a rebuttal to make.

''I've given you enough respect as someone who has been in the industry before me but, age wise, I am about four or five years older you. No?'' Sabrina stood up.

''What are you doing?'' Celia asked when Sabrina walked closer to her.

''Since you are younger than me, I suggest you shut that mouth before I do it for you…'' Sabrina raised her hand and placed it gently on Celia's shoulder and gave her an intimidating look.

''Miss Celia, you are next.'' Georgia came out of the room and announced.

Celia stood up, a little petrified by Sabrina's aura. She picked up her purse and hurried into the auditioning room.

Sabrina returned to her seat and smiled. Lucia chuckled saying. ''Sabrina, that was so cool. You made her shut up with just a few words.''

Celia's assistant became quiet as soon as Celia went inside.

Sabrina smiled and opened her script to go through again.

Inside the auditioning room.

When Celia started her auditioning, the director and Vincent paid attention to her. She was acting out a scene in the comic where the female lead was confessing her feelings to her boss whom she has worked with for ten years.

Celia's acting was superb. She had the right emotions and it reflected in her gaze. She kept her gaze on Vincent as she spoke. It was as if she was pouring out her heart to him and wishing that he would believe her.

''Ten years! We've known each other for ten years. I remember when I first started working for you, I made a lot of mistakes. Mistakes that could have easily gotten me fired, but you never did. Instead, you kept correcting me until I became what I am now. Thomas, I love you. I've loved you for more than five years.''

''I've watched you go into different unsuccessful relationships and I've gotten heartbroken so many times, but I never gave up on the love in my heart. I don't want to be just your assistant. I want to be your woman. I want to be the one in your heart…'' Celia's voice choked and her hands trembled.

Director Eric nodded his head and looked at his marking spreadsheet. He ticked out some boxes.

Celia finished the scene and looked at Vincent and the director. ''How was it?'' She asked.

''You are really worthy of your reputation, Celia. Even I was moved by your acting. In terms of the delivery, you did well, but I was hoping that you would put in a little bit of sad tones in your voice. Gwen is a hopeless romantic and does things with a sincere heart.''

''In this particular scene, she was certain that her feelings won't be reciprocated so she is a little heartbroken. She knows that things won't be the same after her confession and that in itself makes her feel sad. I feel that you didn't clearly exhibit those emotions, but you did well.'' The director shared his comments and turned to look at Vincent.

''That wasn't bad. The emotions were on point and the delivery was flawless. As Director Eric stated. The delivery was good but the emotions were lacking a bit. Gwen isn't trying to be strong. In this scene, her vulnerability is visible and that's what's important. This scene is a major turning point of the entire series so it is important that it is perfect.'' Vincent added.

''Thank you for your words.'' Celia said.

''You will hear from us when you qualify.'' Director Eric said to Celia.

''Call the next in line.'' Vincent turned to Georgia.

''Yes, CEO.'' Georgia went out to call Sabrina.
