The scene in the lobby of Tyme Magazine was intense. Sabrina could feel the eyes on her as she found herself in the embarrassing moment with the CEO, Vincent Maraj.

Just when she prepared herself to apologise, she heard him say.

Sabrina's breath was caught up and her face became red.

''Don't be so quick to reject me. It took me a lot of courage to come to you.'' Mimi insisted and Kai took the glass of wine from her.

''I've been wanting to ask you a personal question.'' Mimi said.

''Ask!'' Kai said impatiently as he gulped down the wine.

''Do you have a girlfriend?'' Mimi asked.

''No!'' Kai placed the empty glass on the table.

''Then, what do you think of me?''

''I don't have a girlfriend, but I have a fiancée, who is pregnant for me.'' Kai said and Mimi froze at once.

''Can I leave now?'' Kai asked before walking away.

Kai staggered towards the elevator. He suddenly felt hot and undid his necktie, to free himself. ''What did this girl put in the drink?''

Kai entered the elevator and Mimi joined him just when it was about to close. She tried to hold him and he pushed her away.

''Kai, let me help you!'' Mimi said as the elevator closed.
