Calle let out an exhausted sigh. The fight against the A-rank Human Bugs had turned into an endurance match, one she was losing.

The previous fight she had sapped her energy, making her tired and unable to fight as well as she could. Or that's the excuse for her to fail killing the evasive monster.

'It's trying to get me to die from exhaustion!' Calle could not believe any other reason why the monster did not fight her.

Maybe the previous monsters were sent to their death as well. Though, why the monsters did not gang up on her and killed her that way is a question itself. She don't think the monster who could think of plan to exhaust her would not know how to make such simple tactic.
