"Haah." Neo let out a long sigh. "It's been a long day. Finally time to relax. I can not wait to go out in the city." He looked at Alden. "Alden, are you excited? It's your first time going into the city, after all."

Alden had a grim expression on his face and only stared at Neo.

"What's the matter? Why are you staring at me like that?" Neo tilted his head in confusion.

"You should be aware why I am staring at you?" Alden spoke angrily. "Why did you have to make that face when I asked her to join us? She obviously noticed that you do not want her with us."

"Ahh, so it's about your girlfriend." Neo chuckled.

"Be serious. You could have just kept a neutral face instead of showing that you do not want her with us." Alden scolded. The joke did not pass as Neo intended and only made Alden angrier. "And she is not my girlfriend. She is my friend."
