The village chief waited patiently, his hands resting on his cane. 

Gossip spread among the residents of the village that gathered behind him, but he didn't mind them. He stared at his beast, his eyes closed and a gentle smile on his face. But who could guess that behind the smile, a devil hid?

In about an hour, Clein brought the last dozen people to the village head. A crowd of more than four hundred residents, including the children, had gathered behind the old village chief.

The villagers slowly grew impatient. Though they respected the village chief, what could be so important to make them wait in the strong wind for more than an hour?

"Village chief, everyone is here," Clein reported to the village chief.

He nodded. "Thank you, Clein. I don't know how to repay you."

"Chief, please don't mention it." Clein bowed respectfully. "Back then, had you not saved my pregnant wife..."
