When they both arrived at the shed, Atlas ignored the mess in the workshop and went directly to his room. He left the grimoire on the dining room table, the staff leaning against the wall, and launched himself at his bed.
Faun saw all this and sighed silently, then took out the egg from inside one of his pockets and placed it back in the box she had prepared earlier. Atlas had asked Faun to carry the egg for him.
If he left it in the workshop, it was possible that anything would happen and it would end up broken. From someone entering, a tremor or even a gust of wind.
All the options were strange, but not impossible, so Atlas preferred to have it nearby, in a place where he could control what was happening.
But he couldn't carry it with him either since in any encounter against someone he could risk breaking it, so he opted for the safest option, giving it to Faun and letting her take care of it.
No one would attack a maid for any reason, all of them were protected by the Viscount, so every offense against one of the maids was an offense against the Viscount himself.
As long as the maid was moderately competent and careful, the egg would not break, but Atlas even doubted whether the nobles would entrust something so precious to a maid they didn't know at all.
Faun also knew this, so she was grateful to Atlas for trusting her.
'I definitely won't let him down' Faun thought as she looked at the egg resolutely.
Knowing that Atlas would be asleep for the rest of the day and would surely wake up until the afternoon, Faun decided to organize the entire workshop for him. There were dozens of plants lying everywhere, even on the ground.
Everything was a mess, and Faun knew that Atlas would start making potions once he woke up. That's why she organized everything she could for him.
Meanwhile, Atlas smiled seeing that Faun had gone to the workshop, then he sat, leaned his back against the back of the bed and said with joy: "Show me everything, Mr. System"
In reality, the system's voice was monotonous and without apparent gender, too neutral.
In an instant, a large screen appeared in front of Atlas. In reality, Atlas hadn't looked at the system in a while, he had learned that seeing every second whether his skills were going up or not was maddening, but this was an occasion that warranted it.

Atlas took in the entire system, then narrowed his eyes at his artifacts.
'Night Gryphon Staff?'
Atlas blinked several times in disbelief, then facepalmed, remembering that the system itself could recognize the artifacts in its possession.
Atlas may not have been able to see the description of the artifacts without a skill, but at least he could know the name.
'So that's what the staff is called... Where does that name come from?'
Putting aside the staff for now, Atlas went straight to the new system option. Upon pressing [Point Distribution] a new screen appeared before him.
Distribution points: [57]
[Increase Stats]
[Increase Mastery]
The information was little, but Atlas soon realized that the points he had were equal to his current level.
'So, I earn points for every level I go up?'
That was the best guess he could give, but then he looked at the two options and frowned.
'Another way to increase my stats?'
Aside from purchasing stats in the store, Atlas could now purchase with these new points. To test the new system option, Atlas pressed that option and a new screen appeared in front of him.
[Do you want to spend <1> distribution point to increase a stat?]
Atlas nodded silently and another screen appeared.
[What stat do you want to increase?]
Without thinking much, Atlas decided to give that point to his strength, then the screen updated.
[Your
Atlas felt somewhat cheated seeing that one point was equivalent to a single stat. Absorbing cores and purchasing from the store was a much more efficient way to raise his stats, so he probably wouldn't use it much, so he turned to the other option and pressed it.
[Do you want to spend <1> distribution point to increase the mastery of a skill?]
Atlas nodded again and the screen changed.
[Which skill do you want to increase its mastery of?]
Atlas looked at the mastery of all his skills and finally decided to increase [Minor Wind Blast], it was his skill with the highest mastery being 87%.
Then, the system showed him a screen again.
[The mastery of the active skill
Atlas was left completely stunned watching the screen in front of him.
'10%?!'
Atlas expected his mastery to go up by 1%, maybe 5%, but he never expected it to be as much as 10%. With the points he had available, Atlas would be able to level up 5 full skills.
But that was considering that [Minor Wind Blast] was a skill of the lowest possible level, perhaps when he tried to raise a higher-level skill the cost would be seriously higher or it would rise less percentage.
But Atlas was not going to stay with that doubt, so he decided to increase the mastery of [Intermediate Poison Resistance], which was the only intermediate level skill he had.
Then when he agreed to spend a point, the system screen refreshed.
[The mastery of the active skill
Atlas wanted to scream with excitement, neither the cost had gone up nor the percentage had gone down. But it was still early to celebrate. [Advanced Potion Creation] was the highest-level skill he possessed, and it would be the final answer to his experiment.
Without hesitation, Atlas spent a point to increase the mastery of [Advanced Potion Creation], then a screen appeared in front of him again.
[The mastery of the active skill
Atlas couldn't stop a feeling of euphoria from flooding his body, so he stood up without believing what he saw.
"This is serious?"
Even with an advanced skill the cost does not increase or the percentage decreases. Atlas didn't have higher level skills to experiment with, but he didn't need it since he was sure that he would work just as well with the other skills.
Resisting the urge to celebrate, Atlas sat back down on the bed and continued to watch the system for a while as if a small child was playing with his favorite toy.
