Settling some matters

The next morning, Alexa woke up but her husband was nowhere beside her. She gently sat up as memories of last night invaded her mind. A sweet smile spread across her lips– she was feeling good and loved every bit of love marks on her beautiful skin.

While she was reveling in the moment, her nose took a whiff of a rich and strong smell of hot coffee and toast. She turned her head to the side, behold, there was a tray of breakfast on the bedside drawer.

Alexa beamed and she stretched her hands out for the tray. She was famished and it was courtesy of last night's activity.

On the tray was a cup of black coffee, a cup of cream, and cube sugar placed differently– He must have separated them because he had no idea if she liked them mixed or preferred black coffee.

Beside the arrangement was a sizable portion of toast.
