Don't deserve to live

Magnus lowered the wine cup in his hand, glancing at his Father. "I didn't wish to disturb Father at this hour, but it was necessary," He pronounced.

"My kids can see me at any time," Esmond asserted. "What is it that Prince Magnus wants to discuss with me at this hour?" He patiently waited for his son's response.

"Father, I think Damien isn't dead," Magnus replied.

Esmond frowned at his son's answer. "What do you mean?" he asked.

"Why would Damien make a stupid mistake by coming to a ball and playing with the minds of the few vampires? I feel it was his intention to divert our minds from a bigger attack that he must be planning on us," Magnus explained.

King Esmond furrowed his brows close. He couldn't either neglect Magnus's claims.

"Perhaps he wishes to check what Alora can do. Damien is the one, who killed my aunt. She didn't die naturally, Father. I want you to do something about it," Magnus asserted.
