Alora exited the coach as she looked at the tall building in front of her. Its top disappeared somewhere in the clouds. The sky was dark today and it felt anytime rain would pour down.

Magnus's voice caused Alora to lower her head slightly before she replied, "Yes."

As they strolled along the lengthy pavement, Alora couldn't help but notice the unusual serenity enveloping the surroundings. Suddenly, her gaze was seized by the sight of a man, half-conscious and bloodied, being pulled out of the towering building.

Alora's feet stopped abruptly as Magnus pulled her to his side.

"I never expected Prince Magnus to be back in the council," Nikitin replied with a surprising gaze.
