Don't choose me over your life

Rubin attempted to withdraw from Magnus's grip, but it was impossible. The sound of shackles filled the entire prison and he felt he would die any second. However, at the very end, when Rubin left the hope to survive, Magnus let go of him.

"You have been after Alora for a long time. You found a good story to get close to me and her. What the Head Witch couldn't find out, you found out," Magnus said, glaring at him.

"But now, I've delved into the depth of your thoughts, and you've outlived your usefulness," he declared dismissively, turning his back on Rubin.

"He should be killed now, Brother Izaak. You know how to do that," Magnus said. His eyes showed how grateful he was to Izaak to save him. If not for him, then he would not have made it. He couldn't deny the fact that the poison was strong.

"Mag-nus... Don't do this. I can be useful to you in future," Rubin said as he pleaded for his life.
