King Esmond hesitated on the decision of whether to entrust Alora with leading the mission. However, as the sovereign, he resolved to personally visit the troubled village, accompanied by a cadre of witches and a cohort of steadfast vampires and werewolves. The time had come for a unified front against the encroaching evil.
Izaak advised Alora not to volunteer herself for something about which even they were unaware!
"Brother Izaak, I understand your concerns," Alora continued, her voice tinged with sadness. "But if we delay, Qasima's ruthless grip may claim more innocent lives. She showed no mercy, not even to the village's youngest. It's devastating."
Alora then paused for a moment, "Rubin's decision to awaken her was a grievous mistake," she murmured, her gaze distant as she recalled the havoc Qasima had unleashed already.
"It's not right to dwell in the past anymore," Izaak opined. "We need to think about the present for now."
