Throwing Melody out

Alora stood quietly at the doorway, observing Melody who was deeply engrossed in her writing practice. She admired Melody's dedication, having seen her wake up early each morning to study and strive to learn quickly. The conversation they had over breakfast still lingered in Alora's mind.

"Melody," Alora called softly. Melody looked up immediately, meeting Alora's gaze.

"Your Highness!" Melody exclaimed, rising from her seat while still clutching the quill pen. She watched as Alora approached her.

"I see you are studying hard, Melody," Alora remarked with a smile.

"Yes, Your Highness. I feel it is essential to gain basic literacy skills as soon as possible. It's quite challenging to memorize everything," Melody admitted. "I thought you would be attending the Council from today onwards," she added.
