Change of fate

A few minutes ago:

Magnus regained his consciousness in the middle of the treatment, which wasn't expected. "Alora," he murmured.

"Magnus!" Izaak called out his name, a smile spread across his lips. The royal physician asked Magnus not to move, but he didn't listen to him.

"Where's Alora? I need to see her," Magnus insisted.

"She is outside. I'll call her inside," Izaak assured him, trying to keep Magnus calm and in bed. He opened the door, expecting to find Alora waiting, but the hallway was empty. Confused, he turned back to Magnus. "I think she's resting in her room. I'll bring her."

Ignoring Izaak's attempts to keep him in bed, Magnus swung his legs over the edge and stood up, searching for his shirt. He picked up the blood-stained garment from the floor and pulled it on, wincing at the pain but resolute. "I'll check on her myself," he declared.
