The woman's heart pounded in her chest as she saw the unrelenting menace in his eyes. Her legs began to tremble, a primal instinct screaming at her to flee. The chilling atmosphere seemed to close in around her, suffocating and overwhelming.
Sweat trickled down her temples, her breathing quick and shallow. Her mind raced. 'I need to leave! I need to get out of here! I can't defeat him! There's no way I can survive this!'
Her fear only deepened when his cold, menacing voice cut through the silence like a blade.
"Don't even think about running… You'll regret it."
The sheer weight of his words made her knees buckle, but desperation forced her into action. "You bastard!" she spat, reaching for a handful of dirt from the ground. With a wild motion, she hurled it at his face, aiming for his eyes.
*Cough!*
The coarse dirt struck its mark, momentarily blinding him. He raised an arm to shield his face, cursing loudly. "What a dirty fucking bitch!" he growled, his tone sharp with irritation.
The distraction lasted mere seconds, but it was enough. She didn't hesitate, turning on her heel and sprinting as fast as her legs would carry her. Her body moved on pure instinct, driven by panic and the overwhelming desire to survive.
"Ah… you'll regret this, I swear," he muttered darkly, lowering his arm as his vision cleared. His gaze locked on her retreating figure, and a cold smirk tugged at his lips. Without wasting another moment, he sprang into action, his speed blurring as he dashed after her.
The woman's thoughts were chaotic, her breath ragged as she pushed herself to the brink. 'I need to leave! I need to inform them about the failure! If I can just escape this damn place, I—'
Her frantic thoughts were cut short. A shadow loomed behind her, and before she could react, a force like a freight train slammed into her, sending her crashing to the ground with a sickening thud.
"I told you not to run," his voice hissed, low and venomous, as he leaned in close. The chill in his tone made her blood run cold.
Pain coursed through her body, but fear outweighed it as his hand shot forward, gripping her hair tightly. "Don't even think about uttering a word or crying," he growled into her ear, his voice devoid of emotion. "If you waste my time again, I'll make sure you regret every moment until the very end."
Dragging her by her hair, he hauled her back toward the cavern's dim corner. She gritted her teeth, fury and humiliation burning in her chest, but her body refused to resist.
With a rough motion, he flung her into the corner of her makeshift hiding spot, watching as she crumpled against the cold stone wall. His eyes raked over her, analyzing her with a detached curiosity.
"You have a pretty face," he said, crouching to her level. The words were delivered with a twisted casualness that made her stomach churn. Slowly, he reached out, his hand brushing against her cheek. Her skin crawled at his touch, the gesture more invasive than comforting.
"What are you going to do now, you sick bastard?" she spat, genuine disgust lacing her words.
Her defiance was short-lived.
*Augh!*
Before she could react, his boot connected with her stomach in a brutal kick, driving the air from her lungs. She doubled over, gasping for breath as the searing pain spread through her abdomen. A low, pained groan escaped her lips despite her effort to hold it in.
Riech straightened, his cold eyes staring down at her as if she were nothing more than an insect. "Keep testing my patience," he said flatly, his voice filled with quiet malice.
"How dare you insult me?" he sneered, his voice dripping with disgust.
He took a step closer, towering over her trembling figure. "You've got a pretty face but a foul mouth. Fix that, and you might actually be useful to me." A twisted smirk curled on his lips as he tilted his head, his eyes roaming over her.
A dark thought crossed his mind, unbidden. 'Now that I think about it… if I take her, the system might reward me for it. Isn't that how this works? If I dominated her and get her by my side I should probably receive some rewards.' His smirk widened as he entertained the idea, his gaze lingering on her body.
"You bastard," she spat, venom dripping from her voice. She struggled to push herself up, her hands trembling beneath her weight. "I'd rather die than be your whore!"
Her words ignited a flicker of irritation in him, his jaw tightening. 'This weak, pathetic creature thinks she can insult me? She doesn't know her place.'
He let out a low growl of annoyance. "You're really starting to piss me off," he muttered, his voice cold and sharp.
*Augh!*
Before she could react, his hand shot out, wrapping around her throat like a vice. With ease, he lifted her off the ground, pinning her against the cold cave wall. She clawed at his hand, gasping for air, her legs kicking helplessly.
"I- I can't br-eathe!" she choked out, her voice barely audible as his grip tightened.
Her mind raced in panic. 'This lunatic! Is he trying to kill me without even getting the information he wants?!'
Reich leaned in closer, his smirk returning. "Huh? What was that? Did you just call me a bastard again?" He chuckled darkly, his eyes gleaming with sadistic amusement.
Her struggles grew weaker, her vision blurring as the lack of oxygen took its toll. She tried to speak, her lips trembling as faint, broken words escaped. "Na… naur… ple—please… strph…"
Her world began to darken, her movements slowing as despair gripped her. *No… no! I can't die here! Someone… anyone, stop him! This can't be how it ends!*
A single tear rolled down her cheek as her spirit wavered. Her wide, terrified eyes pleaded for mercy, silently begging him to spare her.
Then, just as she was on the brink of unconsciousness, his grip loosened.
*Thud!*
She collapsed to the ground, landing hard on her rear, her hands instinctively clutching at her throat. She gasped desperately for air, the sound of her ragged breathing echoing in the cavern.
*Huep!*
The sharp intake of air burned her lungs, but she didn't care. She was alive. As she coughed and wheezed, her eyes darted upward to meet his. His expression was one of disdain, as if she were nothing more than an insect beneath his boot.
"Now, do you understand?" he said, crouching to her level, his voice eerily calm. His piercing gaze locked onto her terrified eyes, the corners of his lips curling into a cruel smile.
She nodded instinctively, her fear overpowering any shred of defiance she had left.
"Good," he said, his tone almost mocking. "I'd hate to dirty my hands any further. Consider yourself lucky—I'm feeling generous today."
He grabbed her face roughly, tilting her head up to force her to look at him. "Now, listen carefully. If you want to keep breathing, Understand?"
She nodded again.
