Flashback 5

Athena withers upon feeling the disappointment in her Father's eyes and tries not to grimace or fidget. She was called into the Royal Hall early in the morning and she was fearful of what made her be summoned so early when the culprit sat blissfully next to her. Her pet dog, Erebus had torn through curtains; leaving the velvety material shredded.

Although she felt a pang of remorse at Erebus's inadvertent destruction of property, a deeper sense of culpability gnawed at her. It was a gnawing feeling that she hadn't dedicated enough time or effort to train him properly. She found herself kneeling before her father, her plea for forgiveness tinged with anxiety. The prospect of him deciding to banish Erebus to the mortal realm loomed over her like a dark cloud, casting a shadow of fear upon her heart.
