Ch-47:The Unknown

***

As the Universal Treasure broke apart and seemed to be using the powers of space-time laws stored in it, the entire universe trembled in the wake of a dominant power that was born in it.

Universal treasures were born only once per universe in the huge cosmos, and the treasures related to space-time laws were the rarest kind among all the treasures that have been born.

Not every universe could give birth to treasures, though, which impeded the cultivators at their respective levels from being able to hoard them due to their scarcity.

Of course, no one knew about the trembling since it couldn't be felt due to the intervention of some being that was many times stronger than the universe.

The entity that interfered in the process altered the space-time coordinates and specified them for a time in the past that was deemed appropriate for that kid to arrive at.

This entity was smiling as it altered the fate of who knows how many lives with its one insignificant move, while the chains appeared to surround it just after it used its power.

Another entity at the same power level sent its projection, as these two were the only ones in their current realm that were sealed and put to slumber to stop their increase in growth.

They were well aware that no one other than the other entity could cause them to be affected since they had both been like that for time immemorial.

"Why'd you interfere?" asked the projection that seemed to change its form every moment.

The entity who interfered just smiled, even as if their body's color, shape, gender, size, and everything changed just like the projection.

Both of the entities didn't engage in conversation since they could talk without the need to speak or even send thoughts, yet they had completely cut off each other.

The mere projection's voice had increased the concentration of energy across all the universes by a minuscule amount of 0.01%, but it was a massive amount considering there probably exist countless universes.

The two didn't speak, converse, or convene each other's thoughts, they just went silent and waited for the projection to disappear as they continued to spend time just observing.

While this was going somewhere far out of the reach of any cultivator, there were another two cultivators who were shocked at the familiarity of the powers.

The young man seemed to be in deep concentration before he suddenly opened his eyes and looked in a random direction.

Another man suddenly appeared in front of him who also looked in the same direction, unaware of how the lower realm could have access to such powers.

"Master, this power..." the young man asked the other man, who had suddenly appeared.

"Yes, it's a law. I understand your confusion, as even I am confused since it should be impossible to use the laws in the lower realm" the master answered his disciples.

"Unfortunately, our goal hasn't been achieved, and it seems the upper realm noticed our realm segregation barrier, so we can't leave for the time being" the master continued as he sighed in exhaustion.

"Yes, master. I will focus on understanding my powers better so that we don't have to hide anymore" said the disciple as his master smiled and nodded at his words.

The duo of master and disciple were in the core of a gigantic sun that was at the last stages of its life cycle, transferring from a white dwarf to a black dwarf star.

For some unknown reason, the two weren't affected but rather strengthened by the hot core temperature as they accelerated the process of turning into a black dwarf star.

In a realm higher than the so-called upper realms, countless strong cultivators were on the search for a universe treasure that should have been born in their universe.

Just because they were rare and scarce didn't mean no one found a way to locate them, as many different powers had their own ways of locating them, but it was extremely difficult to pinpoint their location.

Well, all their search turned out to be useless, as they searched for many years that were equal to many centuries in the lower realm, which is Raon's realm.

Unfortunately, all they found was that a universe treasure was born, but after decades of searching ending in failure, their method showed the absence of a universe treasure.

No one knows how many lives were lost due to the rage of the ones who held a strong desire to get their hands on a universe treasure only to find out that it was already bound and used by someone.

These higher-ups weren't the ones chasing after the master-disciple duo since they couldn't care less about such insignificant beings, as the thoughts of their rival getting a universe treasure caused them to go crazy.

All of them decided to mediate and ask if any of them had found it, yet even after decades of hard work in locating and bringing everyone together, none of them knew about it.

Now, they could have lied, but so could the mediators. That is why they had their own equals to soul contracts, and it was much more horrible due to being bound by the heavens themselves.

The upper realm was also in chaos. Well, a part of it, at least. The master-disciple duo were the ones they sought to locate because they had been trying to find them.

The basis that they were the ones who put up a realm segregation barrier that made them spend excessive costs to conduct the millennium competitions and even give rights to enter an unexplored ruin caused them unsightly anger.

The worst part was that they didn't get any returns for all the investments just so that they could continue to pick up the talented seeds and recruit them as their members.

What irked them the most was that another millennium competition was just around the corner, but it couldn't be started because of the realm segregation barrier.

The one they removed wasn't the only one, as another one was set up by the master and his subordinates who had been hiding in the lower realms since the discovery of his disciple's unique talent.

Undercurrents were surging, and varying types of chaos would ensue on all levels across existence, yet it wouldn't be for Raon, as unaware as he was of the unknowns; he couldn't do anything even if he knew.

He was unaware that, due to him, an entity beyond understanding altered the fate of countless universes that were linked to his regression.

A universal treasure whose effect shouldn't go beyond its universe was going to show massive changes just because...
