The Villain Returns!

A few minutes before the explosion, Raon was standing in his place and trying to recover whatever spiritual energy he could as he observed the scene play out in front of him.

He saw Lia dash towards the beast and stab a dagger in their initial clash, but she also got pushed back.

Then, there was a series of clashes between the two, and after each bout, the beast seemed to stagger momentarily while Lia was doing her best to not let the beast strike it in the slightest.

Raon saw all that and came back to his surroundings, where he saw the corpses of the ape demon beast that Lia had killed.

He didn't mind picking up whatever was left, as it could at least be of some value, and packing it into his spatial pouch and the rings that he had.

Most of the carcasses were frozen from the inside, making them fragile to the point they were shattered by his mere touch, so all he got were a few demon beast cores.
