#16-The Case Of The Dissapearance Of The Golden-Haired Women

"Father."

Duke Alasdair looked up from several reports on his desk. The man nodded at Reynold Alasdair and let his eldest son into his study. Beside Duke Alasdair, Herold, Duke Alasdair's loyal aide bowed and greeted Reynold.

"Do you need something from me, Rey?" Duke Alasdair asked.

"Is Father busy?" Reynold asked back. He stood in front of his father's desk and glanced at the reports on the Duke's desk. The man read a few sentences and cleared his throat. "Is Father checking the reports regarding the disappearance of women in the Graziano empire?"

Duke Alasdair leaned his back against his chair and massaged his temples. The man nodded.

"You are right. I just found out about this case today and this case has been going on for the past few days. I probably wouldn't have known if it weren't for reports that at least five women in our area had disappeared. The Emperor also ordered me to conduct an investigation."
