Bloodline Creation III

Tendrils of veins lined the young boy's frame, writhing in agony like small worms. Aurelia could only imagine what type of pain he was experiencing. Yet, not once did Zariel display any sort of pain. He remained poised, unmoving like stone. 

Beads of sweat crowned Zariels brow. Still, he did not move, cycling the Arcana through his meridians along the path he'd grown accustomed to when the Stigma of the Black Heavens resonated with his will. 

Aurelia gritted her teeth. 'That insensitive bastard.' she thought, counting the seconds. She'd hate this about him. Hated how he did things through threats of death. 'Would it kill him to not always risk his life?'
