The Dream

For miles, the Pillar of Divinity banished the approaching night. Be it man or beast, could resist prostrating themselves before the divine, tumbling to their knees like a newborn calf.

Only those who held the soul and body of a Palantine were allowed to stand and gaze upon the power of a God. The land trembled and shook, writhing like a living entity. Oceans far in the distance rose, kicking back and forth, forming tsunamis two hundred feet into the air.

"What's happening?" Aurelia's voice trembled, the hairs on her neck standing on end. Aurther was panting, his body drenched in a sweat that seemed to carry a deadly warning, while the others wept, their heads buried in the dirt. It was a sight unlike anything she'd ever witnessed.

"Arthur! Whats—"

"Can't you feel it?" Arthur demanded in a strained breath. He clenched His chest, hoping it would alleviate the pain in his heart. "A God… is trying to descend!"
