Chris, died betrayed by his close friend, whom he addressed as a brother. All it was due to jealousy. They both entered the game together but Chris reached the sky whereas Brian couldn't.
Brian betrayed his friend to get some legendary items that could turn him into a powerhouse.
What he never knew was that Chris never told anyone about an item that he got, an item that returned him to the time before the game was introduced.

Selene returned a while later with the earnings of Chris, that is the total amount earned for pups minus the auction house fees.

Selene handed him a storage ring that consisted of the gold coins, "Young master, you have gained a total of …"

Chris cut off Selene's explanation, "Don't worry I know how much I earned from the auction. No need to explain it. Now sit, let's see if there are any interesting items".

Selene nodded her head and sat down by his side. While this was going on, the auction continued as usual. It felt a little boring for Chris as nothing had caught his eye. Sure there are many items of importance but what he needed were items that can be useful to him.

He didn't have a storage ring before but the auction house gave him one while handing him the gold. They gained a lot from the auction, so they can't be stringent and ask back the storage ring. It was complimentary.
