Chris, died betrayed by his close friend, whom he addressed as a brother. All it was due to jealousy. They both entered the game together but Chris reached the sky whereas Brian couldn't.
Brian betrayed his friend to get some legendary items that could turn him into a powerhouse.
What he never knew was that Chris never told anyone about an item that he got, an item that returned him to the time before the game was introduced.

Abyssal Invasion Online: Realms

Chris was able to finally find the core. Though he had yet to see the core himself, he heard the ones who were searching for it yell loudly that they were able to finally find it and also sporting some nonsense that he didn't understand.

He understood two things. The invaders found the core and the invaders were called Asheraan. These are the only things that he could understand as they started to talk in an unknown language, which Chris thought to be the mother tongue of the invaders.

So no matter what he wants, he can't understand an alien language. He has no idea what they just spoke about after saying that they found the core and that their race would shine.

"Shine...wait that means there are other races trying to invade Earth?" Chris wondered while resting in a small gap hidden from the invaders. The gap gave him a good vantage point to watch them without getting seen.
