That Felt So Good

"So... may I go and visit my grandfather at the hospital now and tell him this good news?" Wynonna asked.

She had not been able to leave the house recently because Shane had restricted her movements.

"I'll get my chauffer to take you," Shane said. "Also, it's my grandfather's birthday this Sunday. All the members of the Muller family will be there. Since you're going out, go to the shops and pick a birthday gift for him. I will pay for it."

As he spoke, he took out a credit card from his wallet and threw it to her.

This would be her first appearance at a Muller family gathering. On top of that, it was for the senior Mr. Muller's birthday. Everyone's eyes would be on her gift, so he could not allow any mishaps.

"I don't need this. Since it is a gift from me, of course, I will pay with my own money," said Wynonna, and she pushed the credit card back to him.
