Just a hunch

DEVON'S POV

Ryan, Dona, and I were gathered in the living room, watching the new movie Don had been talking about nonstop for some days now. However, I wasn't watching whatever was going on in the movie; I kept shifting my attention back to my phone. I was hoping Rachel would at least respond to my texts; she had barely replied to me since the proposal incident, but fully ghosting me was something else.

Bowls of buttered popcorn were set in front of each of us as the entertainment box transported us to a fictional world of its own. It was fun having time off from work to bond with   kids from time to time, as opposed to being neck deep in sorting out pack matters all the time. This was a refreshing break that I didn't know I needed.
