RACHEL'S POV

My eyes widened in horror as fear gripped my heart the very moment I laid my eyes on Dona and Ryan. Dona held a bow and arrow, pressing one eye shot, pulling the arrow on the strings back as she aimed for the apple on Ryan's head. Running frantically towards them, I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"DONA! STOP THAT NONSENSE RIGHT NOW."

They both froze, turning back to see me. Confusion etched across Dona's face as she put down her bow.

"Don't worry, Rachel, Ryan won't get hurt. I have a great aim."

According to God, kids are always searching for stupid ways to kill themselves. I marched towards them with furrowed brows, my displeasure contorting my face as I yanked the weapon from Dona's hands.

"Good aim, my foot! I don't care if you are Robin Hood himself; you aren't shooting an apple off Ryan's head. Frankly, I'm disappointed in you." Turning towards Ryan, who had just taken off the green apple from his head, I added.
