DEVON'S POV
My mouth fell gape, and my eyes widened in shock as disbelief contorted my face, staring unblinkingly at the bullet wound gushing with blood from behind the wolf's head. I raise my head, tracing, looking ahead to the direction the gun was shot from. Someone was outside, watching us.
"Jack?" I muttered under my breath, squinting my gaze as I tried to focus on the figure in the distance. All I could see were a pair of emerald green eyes glowing in the dark glare back at me with a sinister grin on their faces. I didn't know who it was, but I knew for a fact that it wasn't Jack. Jack's eyes weren't green.
